Luminescence is a phenomenon called "luminescence", which is caused by a strong electric field. The electroluminescent display consists of a solid-state light-emitting film and an insulating stack deposited on a glass substrate, which generates alternating + / - 200 V pulses from high-voltage electrons.

What are the main advantages of electroluminescent displays in other display types?

Some main advantages are: 1) wide working temperature range (- More than 40 models to 65 ?, some at - 40 ? to 85 ? and one at - 50 ? to 85 ?. No heater or fan is needed; 2) instant switch on at low temperature does not change performance (very slow compared with LCD, usually with pink low temperature); 3) infinite angle, no color change; 4) extremely long life, no maintenance cost (no backlight replacement); 5) very solid package due to solid State technology; 6) clear and high contrast "look" to distinguish the products of the competitors of the OEM products.

What is the difference between LED and EL display?

The backlight of El is common, but it is different from the flat panel display. The information displayed by the light and backlight will not; they just provide a "light bulb" for lighting purposes. The luminescent backlight adopts the thick film process, and the slurry contains the luminescent material to select a substrate. The resulting slurry is about 100 microns thick. The results of the electroluminescence process of the planar thin film are about 2 µ m thick, which allows relatively fine pixel resolution (such as 0.36 mm dot pitch) while providing good reliability and phosphorus stability. Flat electroluminescent displays are sometimes referred to as electroluminescent displays due to the use of thin films. Details of the differences between thick film electroluminescence,

What color?

Almost all display modes are yellow. The model can produce red, green and yellow colors to filter the yellow phosphor. Red, green, blue and white electroluminescent phosphors have been developed for flat surfaces in the past but have not been commercialized.

What about transparent display?

Electroluminescent chip (EL) technology can be transparent. Due to the transparency of the stack, replacing the standard aluminum row electrode with the conductive row electrode results in a transparent display of all its beneficial properties of standard luminescence.
